Project Goal:
Design a comprehensive and user-friendly monitoring dashboard for the InstinctHub LMS, prioritising stakeholder needs and empowering student involvement.
Target Audience:
- InstinctHub staff: Sales, Content Management, Security, Developers, DevOps, Community Lead.
- Selected student cohort(s) with UX/UI design skills and interest in contributing to the platform.
Stakeholder Needs:
- Sales: Track revenue, understand user demographics, monitor course performance.
- Content Management: Analyze student engagement, identify content gaps, improve course quality.
- Security: Maintain platform security, monitor user activity, prevent breaches.
- Developers: Ensure system performance, identify technical issues, optimize resource utilization.
- DevOps: Monitor server health, track maintenance tasks, prevent outages.
- Community Lead: Analyze community engagement, understand user sentiment, identify collaboration opportunities.
Student Project Scope:
- Phase 1: Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes of the dashboard, incorporating various modules and layouts.
- Phase 2: Present designs to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback, finalize dashboard interface and user experience.
Design Considerations:
- Modular design: Allow customization for different stakeholder roles and data preferences.
- Clear and concise data visualization: Utilize charts, graphs, and tables effectively.
- Actionable insights: Provide context and recommendations alongside data presentations.
